We partner with other local, regional, and statewide organizations and agencies to enhance understanding and appreciation of the area's diverse Modern resources.
ABOUT DOCOMOMOFounded in 2013, Docomomo US/SoCal is a regional chapter of Docomomo US, the national working party for Docomomo International (Docomomo).
Docomomo is a non-profit organization dedicated to DOcumentation and COnservation of buildings, sites and neighborhoods of the MOdern MOvement. It was initiated in 1988 by Hubert-Jan Henket, architect and professor, and Wessel de Jonge, architect and research fellow, at the School of Architecture at the Technical University in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. Docomomo US/SoCal is all-volunteer, member-supported organization. When you join as a member, you will help fund exciting programming throughout Southern California, receive news and updates about important local issues related to Modern architecture, and join a national network of Modern architecture enthusiasts.
